Is there a gay community? And what good is it for anyway?

Yes Virginia, there is a Gay Community

Mr. North Dallas Thirty and friends are knocking the "gay community" again.  Funny thing is, he seems to often insist that it doesn't exist. Therefore, why bother knocking it? My usual snarkiness aside, his complaints have some merit to them.

The gay and lesbian "community" has it's bums and angels just like everyone else.  And that certainly includes the activist or political minded among us as as well. Any large group of people can be somewhat soulless at times. It is just the nature of the beast.
